Description
Schools are reopening during the months of June and July. While most children are excitedly preparing for school with new bags and books, the innocent children living in various *ashrams* (shelter homes) and orphanages are waiting with hopeful eyes. They are looking forward to the arrival of a 'guardian angel' who will gift them new books, colorful bags, shiny water bottles, and tiffin boxes. The "Shiksha Sashaktikaran" (Education Empowerment) campaign is a humble effort to bring smiles to the faces of these children and transform their 'hope' into 'confidence'.

Significance
Support for Ashram Children:   When children living in *ashrams*—away from the protective presence of their parents—receive new items, they realize that there is someone in society who cares for them.

Fostering Interest in Education:  The appeal of new bags, tiffin boxes, and books sparks a fresh enthusiasm in children for attending school and studying.
