Offering chadawa to Lord Vishnu on Thursday is believed to bring special blessings. It is said that worshiping Lord Vishnu with devotion on this day fulfills the desires of devotees and brings happiness and prosperity into their lives. Especially, yellow items (like turmeric, gram dal, or yellow cloth) are offered to Lord Vishnu, as the color yellow is considered dear to Him.
