Kaal Sarp Dosh Nivaran Maha Puja
Kaal Sarp Yoga is formed when all major planets (Sun, Moon, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, Saturn) in a person's birth chart come between Rahu and Ketu. According to astrology, Rahu is considered the 'mouth of the serpent' and Ketu the 'tail', due to which obstacles and stagnation tighten around life like a constricting serpent.
At the revered Shree Shiveshwar Mahadev Temple in Ujjain, this puja is performed with utmost rituals and complete Vedic chanting. In this special ritual, along with the Rudrabhishek of Lord Mahakal and Shiveshwar Mahadev, worship of silver or copper serpent couples (Naag-Naagin Joda), Mahamrityunjaya mantra chanting, Navagraha Shanti, and special fire oblations (Ahutis) for Rahu and Ketu are conducted. This loosens the negative planetary grips in the native's chart and paves the way for progress.
