Detailed Pooja Procedure:

Sankalp & Ganesh-Ambika Worship: Vedic scholars recite the devotee's name, gotra, birth nakshatra, and birthplace to take a formal vow (Sankalp) for the ritual, followed by worshiping Lord Ganesha to remove all obstacles.

Kalash Sthapana & Navagraha Worship: The sacred Kalash is established to invoke divine cosmic energies, and special offerings are made to appease the nine planets (Navagrahas).

Maa Katyayani Shringaar & Shodashopachara Worship: Goddess Katyayani is adorned with red attire, red chunri, roli, kumkum, hibiscus flowers, honey, and 16 traditional adornments (Shringaar). Since honey is favored by Goddess Katyayani, a special offering (Bhog) of pure honey is presented to Her.

Maa Katyayani Mantra Chanting & Stotra Recitation: Learned priests chant powerful Katyayani mantras ("Om Hreem Kleem Katyayanai Namah" and "Katyayani Mahamaye Mahayoginyadheeshwari...") 108 or 11,000 times, accompanied by the recitation of Argala Stotram and Katyayani Stotram from the Durga Saptashati.

Hawan & Purnahuti: The ritual concludes with a sacred fire ceremony (Hawan) using medicinal herbs, sacred wood (Samidha), pure cow ghee, lotus seeds, and honey. The ceremony closes with Aarti and seeking divine forgiveness for any inadvertent errors.
Name & Gotra Invocation: During the Pooja, the priest will chant your name and gotra and seek blessings for you by taking holy Sankalp.
