Nav Chandi Path
Nav Chandi Path is an extremely powerful and special ritual of Durga Saptashati dedicated to Goddess Durga. In this, the 700 verses of Durga Saptashati are recited nine times, upon the completion of which a Havan (fire ritual) and Purnahuti (final offering) are performed according to the rules. This ritual is considered the best for liberating oneself from the crises of life and receiving the Mother's blessings.
What is Nav Chandi Path?

Definition: In this, the 700 verses of Durga Saptashati (Chandi Path) are recited nine times.

Format: This ritual is generally performed by 9 Brahmins over 9 days or on a single special day, concluding with a Dashansh (tenth part) Havan.

General Procedure of Worship and Havan

Sankalp (Vow): After purification and Achaman (sipping holy water) for purification, Lord Ganesha, Navagraha (nine planets), and Navdurga are invoked.

Path (Recitation): The chapters of Durga Saptashati are recited systematically for nine days.

Havan: Upon the completion of the recitation, the Havan and Purnahuti are performed.
