1. Purification and Preparation (Pavitrikaran):

   • The household and puja area are thoroughly cleaned.

   • The devotees take a holy bath, wear clean traditional attire, and sit facing East or North.

2. Sankalpa (Sacred Vow):

   • The priest guides the host to hold water, rice grains, flowers, and a coin in their right palm.

   • The devotee recites their name, lineage (Gotra), location, date, and the specific intention behind performing the Puja, officially dedicating the ritual to Lord Satyanarayan.

3. Invocation of Lord Ganesha and Navagraha:
