Sri Surya Dev Path Maha Jaap Anushthan
In Sanatan Dharma, Lord Surya Dev is regarded as the 'Pratyaksha Devta' (visible deity), who is the life-giver and the sole source of energy in the universe. Surya Dev is not only the king of planets but also the provider of brilliance, the soul's governing factor, and the giver of good health. When facing failure, lack of self-confidence, or loss of reputation in life, worshipping Surya Dev yields exceptional results.
During this ritual, expert priests chant sacred scriptures such as Aditya Hridaya Stotra, Surya Sukta, and Sri Ram Raksha Stotra. Alongside this, ritualistic chanting of the Sun's beeja mantra "Om Ghrini Suryaya Namah" or the Gayatri Mantra is performed. At the conclusion of the puja, an offering of water (Arghya) from a copper vessel, red flowers, roli, jaggery, and wheat is made to the Sun, followed by a special havan (sacrificial ritual) that infuses divine energy into the seeker.
