Sundarkand is considered to be the heart of Ramayana. Sundarkand Paath tells how Hanumanji crossed all the difficulties to successfully find Mata Sita. It also tells how he burnt Lanka to ashes.
Sunderkand Paath is done at home for different reasons like getting rid of difficulties in life, victory over opponents or enemies, mental and physical health issues and listening to the melodious kirtan of Lord Shri Ram.
This Paath is started with Gauri Ganesh Kalash Puja by the main Panditji, the Paath is read with the team of Pandits playing Dholak, Manjira and other instruments for Kirtan and Bhajan praising Lord Shri Ram and devotee Hanuman.
