About puja & significance

Ashta Lakshmi Maha Puja

Ashta Lakshmi Maha Puja is a rare and powerful Vedic ritual in which all eight forms of Goddess Lakshmi are invoked together:

Adi Lakshmi: The primal energy that provides inner peace and spiritual strength.

Dhana Lakshmi: Bestows monetary wealth and financial security.

Dhanya Lakshmi: Fills granaries and brings abundance of food to the household.

Gaja Lakshmi: Grants power, royal luck (Rajyoga), vehicular comfort, and social prestige.

Santana Lakshmi: Blesses with offspring and protects the family lineage.

Veera/Dhairya Lakshmi: Imparts courage, valor, and endurance to overcome difficulties.

Vijaya Lakshmi: Ensures triumph and success in every venture.

Vidya Lakshmi: Bestows wisdom, knowledge, and sound decision-making capabilities.

At the sacred Gaj Lakshmi Temple in Ujjain, qualified Vedic priests perform ritualistic Abhishekam and Havan accompanied by the chanting of Shree Suktam, Kanakdhara Suktam, and 108 names of Ashta Lakshmi.
