MP's religious city Ujjain is known worldwide for the Mahakal temple. Its attraction has increased further now. Eight forms of Lord Ganesha have been installed in the temple. The Ashta Vinayak Dham, built in a huge complex of about seven acres, will be inaugurated on May 5. The chief guest of the inauguration ceremony will be the state CM Dr. Mohan Yadav.

Although Ujjain is famous for Siddha Sthals and temples, Ashtavinayak is also being installed here. An 8 feet tall idol of Shri Ashtavinayak has been installed in the newly built temple at Sanwarakhedi.

The Temple was constructed on land worth around Rs 51 crore

Pandit Hemant Vyas, the chief sevadar of the Ashtavinayak temple, told the media that the foundation stone of the temple was laid seven years ago. After this, a grand temple was built. Artists from Rajasthan and Gujarat have given shape to this temple with chanting of mantras. The temple has been built on land worth about 51 crores.

There are eight sub-peaks besides the main peak

Apart from the main peak, eight sub-peaks have been constructed in the Lord Shri Ashtavinayak temple. The Mangal Vigrahas of Ashtavinayak have been installed in these.
